Our next production will be a staging of Elizabeth Hemmerdinger's SQUALL.
Directed by Peggy Long and featuring the acting skills of Janice Bear and Laura Ewing, this play follows Diana as she is packing up her family home after the death of her mother only to be interrupted by an unexpected visit from Cordelia. Initially mistaken as an obsessive fan of Diana's television career, Cordelia is slowly revealed to have a connection to Diana's troubled mother and to have troubles of her own. Once these facts are known to Diana, a compelling game of psychological cat-and-mouse begins which can only resolve itself once the summer storm, a squall, abates and allows the women to leave the house. But is it possible for both women to survive to the end?
The play will be performed, 17, 18, 24, and 25 September at the Goodwill Adult Daycare Center at 8:00pm with those wishing to take advantage of the dinner option being seated at 7:00pm.
